New research published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences shows that refrigerating tomatoes at temperatures below 54 degrees Fahrenheit demonstrates their ability to capture substances that contribute to aroma and flavor. The cold temperature reduces the function of the genes responsible for flavor. This is often the reason why it is best to store tomatoes in a dark room outside the refrigerator.

A strawberry contains 40% sugar while a lemon has 30% more sugar content which is nearly twice the maximum amount . It’s hard to note that because there’s tons of acid which makes it taste far more sweet than sour. This huge amount of sugar in lemons can cause obesity if you eat them too often, but it’s unlikely that you simply will due to the acid.
